reason I ask: I remember hearing about a member that tried to hook up his NPP to the back of the manifold and it was not open, just don't want to have to remove the intake to drill it out.
You've got to drill it out, I even called Fast to confirm, I wish I knew this prior to installing it. Having mine done now while its in the shop for a few other things.
Is this for an LS2 or LS3? My LS3 102 had a little molded plastic nipple covering the NPP vacuum port on the back of the manifold. I had Corsa mufflers when I installed it, so I left it alone. When I went to my B&B Fusions, I had to just twist/break the nipple cover off and the vacuum port was open. No need to drill, at least on the LS3 version.

Maybe mine was broken off, I'm having a few minor issues with my tune and maybe it's cause by what could be a small vacuum leak, but I figure it would be running much worse than this. I did call Comp and the guy that answered told me it had to be drilled out, I hope he was wrong, let me know what you find.

Maybe I'm confused here. The plastic cover on the vacuum port might have been on the stock LS3 manifold. Now that I really think about it, I think it was the LS3 manifold
Now it's all coming back to me. I needed a vacuum plug to cover the NPP port on the FAST when I installed it. I remember thinking I was lucky I was at my shop and had some extra plugs laying around. I don't think the instructions mentioned it.
I am also 100% sure that I did not have to drill out the NPP port on the back. I believe it was just open and would have resulted in a vacuum leak if I had not plugged it. Again, this was on the LS3 FAST intake.
