the eps lobes seem to work best with stock heads. On a nice set of heads they dont really seem to do anything spectactular. I would stick with xfi or lsl lobes for heads. Also andrews cam is on the preditor lobes whick alot of people dont know. I would run spins 230/234 cam with a ls2 and nice heads. andrew has version of that made 460rwhp in a cam only ls2 and ran 11.8 @ 118 which is flying for a heavy gto. It wold only go quicker in a c6 but it uses preditor lobes from preditor cams. He dosen't use comp.

I had a Cartek 3X Cam installed in a 06 A6 LS2 and I made 466rwhp and 411 ftlbs, SAE 1.00. Now remeber this is an automatic.

As far as specs, you would have to contact Cartek as they don't like to give out the specs of their cams.

Cam, full bolt ons, netted a 10.844@125.83mph

Cartek's results are indisputable on both the dyno and track. Nice numbers Tony!

I have a G5x3, kind of old school now, from LG.

The Cartek team has proven results, but it's not only the cam, it's the tune. I'm self tuned. I imagine a real tuner could get some more power from my car.

Based on my years of reading and participation on this board I believe there are some proven shops and Cartek is certainly up there.

I read the whole thread and I dont see an answer...it turned into heads and cam...

I know there are a million better combos out there...but...

What size cam can get the fullest potential out of the 243 heads...untouched (on an LS2...full bolt-ons)? No porting..No TEA...No AFR...No CNC..No PRC...No Trick Flow...etc

I downloaded the "CAM QUEST 6" program...punched in the numbers...checked all the cams is listed for ALL usages. The Comp Cam that tested best...

Part # 54-424-11, Grind XR265HR 212/218 .558/.563 115 + 0 LSA.

I'm not saying its the best for an LS2 Cam Only W/Bolt ons...The Program is saying that..

Highest Peak AND Average HP...

Hghest Peak AND Average Torque...

I repeat...I'm not saying it's so...the Cam Quest program is...
