Mild 2 Wild for C6
Hi There!
I have a C6 with the Z51 exhaust. I would like to get a Mild 2 Wild switch, but don't know if it only works with a ZR-1. Could someone please clarify? I don't want to upgrade my entire exhaust system to get that fantastic, loud rumble. Any suggestions?

You can tell if you have NPPs by accelerating over 3500 RPMs. If it gets significantly louder at over 3500 RPMs you have NPPs. It is a ten minute job to install M2W. One of my favorite mods! Love the pics by the lake!!

Exhaust controllers only work on Bimode exhausts. NPP and/or Z06/ZR1/Fusion.
If you don't have one of these exhaust systems an exhaust controller won't work for you. There is no separate Z51 exhaust, the Z51 option can have either the NPP or the standard exhaust.

Take a look at your two inboard exhaust tips and look for a butterfly valve in them. If you have the valves, you have the NPP exhaust and you can get a M2W controller to open/close them from a remote switch.
