clicking noise
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue. When moving at very slow speeds, say under 10mph, in a straight line, when I accelerate or take my foot off the gas I hear a clicking noise. Its an 07 base c6 with 13600 miles on it. I have an extended warranty but I wanted to ask around before I let the dealer mess around with it.

Provide a little more detail if you can. Where does it sound like it's coming from? Does it do it all the time in those circumstances or only occasionally? Is it rhythmic or random?

If you determine the click noise is coming from the rear axle (use an obsever), lubricate the rear outer axle shaft splines where they fit into the hub bearing, replace both left and right axle nuts with new nuts, use the correct thead locker, torque the nuts to the new specification and allow the car to set for 24 hours to allow the thread locker to cure.
