C6 Noob Questions
Hi All,
Apologies if this is a re-tread...
I recently bought a 2010 3LT Coupe and have two technical questions:
1. Can I change the display on the nav radio to show the song/artist etc when listening to XM -other than that annoying scroll at the top of the window?
2. Can I get the same info to show up on the HUD?
I messed around with the settings but thought their might be a hack or two out there.
Any help is appreciated.

I'm sure you're aware that this NAV system is about 7 years behind most other auto NAV's. That's been the subject of a lot of posts on this forum.
That said, I presume you know that the scrolled output does show up briefly once in the HUD (street mode).
I'm not aware of any hack but like you, I wish it would show song and artist and keep it there continuously while the song played. I think we have little hope of that feature without going to an aftermaket NAV (Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.). Ideally, wouldn't it be nice if it showed the album cover with the song. Like I said, go aftermarket.

That's what I was afraid of. This is my first Corvette - I have been spoiled by the German cars' nav/stereo systems. That said, if that's the biggest gripe its worth it - the car is still fantastic overall.
