I have always wondered but never knew where or who to ask, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask your wise fellas on the forums
What kind of dish pistons will get a compression ratio such as 9.5:1 or 9.0:1? I see most commonly (-8cc dish, -18cc dish, -20cc dish, and -32cc dish). And don't quite know if these have to do with lower cr completely? I would assume these and certain heads would meet the goal? Sorry if i sound a little insane or stupid
But I'm on here to learn as much as I can so help a guy out?
you need to know bore and stroke and the combustion chamber size of the head, head gasket thickness and bore as well as how much the piston is out of the hole.
