Default Seat Recall Gremlin

On my 2005 my seat recall stop working ( You know the exit and drive set up) I did a work around by saying NO to the prompt and fixed the seat in my drive position. The drivers electric seat only works when Im not sitting in it. Anyone else experience this? Also I drove off one day with my emergency brake on - the car did not like that! I wonder if the 2 are related as I get a prompt to set the hand brake for seat recall. But nothing happens when I press my recall #1 button. When I press #2 the cd deck makes noises. Im going to take to the dealer soon, but I was just wondering am I the only one with the seat situation?

Did you check the connectors under the seat to make sure they are not getting pinched or unplugged?

My 05 acts 100% the same. I haven't removed my seat to really inspect the connectors, but from what I can see, they are in decent shape. I think the issue is the memory seat module.

Curious to see what others say/think as well.

I had troubles with my seat doing things like not going forward to where I set it no matter how many times I reset it, things like that. I recently had reason to disconnect my battery. One of the things I discovered after reconnecting it was that all my seat problems disappeared. The thing works perfectly now every time.

Maybe it's worth a try.
