Just ordered the MadMat from MadVette....my question is did it make a big difference in interior noise ?
In the NW roads are horrible from studs and my biggest complaint was noise transfer with the GY's. Just replaced them with Michelin Pilot A/S and there is about a 5 db reduction, but still desiring to reduce that so I ordered this....
I've read about the other products and methods out there so I ordered this based on limited reviews.

I ordered this kit, Oct 20th, was told it would ship that week....after a number of emails req. Update on shipping, response was always "this week". After researching, found many members with the same issue.
Last week cancelled the order, have sent 4 emails, 2 PM's requesting acknowledgement and refund, zno response. Cannot leave a voice mail, as the mail box is full. I got conned out of $205, as did some over on C5.....

I tried to use my pay pal acct but had issues, so I used my Visa debit, the bank said they couldn't do anything, I'll try calling visa. Figured he was honorable since he is a member.

I know we had some issues with our supplier last month on the material, but I am not sure where I missed the email. I currently only have 6 orders that were delayed because of the material delays, but we are not out to con anyone.
This weekend has been a bit crazy, as the weather has caused phone issues and my daughter broke her arm, but I will pm you my cell, and I will be happy to get this squared away for you.
To the OP, the MadMat kit is a good kit and it will reduce some of the noise. I actually have it in my car. The real problem is the amount of weight it takes to truely sound proof a car.
To sound proof the car requires many different types of material. Don't forget heat. The waterfall and the inside of the outer door skins benefit from a product like Dynomat. The driver and passanger floor really can use a closed cell foam product with lead sandwiched in between. The hatch floor also needs at least another 1/4 inch of foam. The list goes on and on. If you really want to see what it takes PM me.
I did my 06 the right way. Cost almost $500 in material alone and took about 3 days to complete. For my 08 I used the MadMat kit plus additional attention (dynamat like product) to the waterfall and doors. Not nearly as good as my 06 but it only took a day to do the whole installation and was much cheaper.
