Default Meth on N/A .... Worth it?

Just wondering if anybody (besides Spin) who has done Meth on a N/A engine, would chime in. I read Spins meth thread, but it was put out a few years ago.

I’ve got a N/A H/C/I and I’m putting down 476rwhp (uncorrected) through an A6. I’m wondering if it would be worth the cost (and the hassle of operating) to install a meth kit. I’ve not been to the track yet (I’m in the process of breaking in theYank 3600), but my friends say they are going to kidnap me and my car + take us to the drag strip.

From what I understood from Spin’s thread, I would gain about 20rwhp, and the meth kit cost about $600 + install (how much is install?).

Any advice or recommendations from those who have done it N/A? Anyone with greater gains? Anyone with less gains? Would anyone say YES DO IT, or No DON’T DO IT?

Charlie at RPM motors in cal does it (you will likely have to call him direct for input) and Snow performance has N/A specific kits for meth.

I read Spin's NA Meth thread and have been planning on doing it since. Charlie at RPM has done some LaBonte installs too, looking at what's involved to install them I doubt it takes two hours so less than $200.

I'm not going to tune mine for added power, I'm just hoping for less pulled timing on these hot California days and a little added insurance against a bad tank of gas.

I wouldn't suggest going in with hopes of gaining 20rwhp or even 10rwhp. Do the mod for it's ability to make the car more consistent.
