Default Will not start, keyless entry is not working properly......

My 2006 will not start. Starter is OK, cranks realy well, voltage is @12.4V. But nothing happens. No service engine light , nothing. It seems that my Vette is loosing it a little, since I also have a problem with keyless entry, I can only open the doors using a button on the remote. Also, when I close the car, horn will signal a problem (3 times, same as if you forget to leave it in reverse). Car will lock and signal it properly with horn on one time only (a few seconds after it blows 3 times). What could it be??

I thought leaving it in reverse was a 2005 only issue?

Could the fob battery be dying?

fob batt., car batt. (when was last time you changed it?), fob in glove box slot (try it).

I've read on here more than a few times, when the car batt. starts going, all kinds of weird things start happening and not all LOOK like they're related to the batt. even tho 12.4 sounds/looks good, it may not be enough.

It works from 20 meters away, si I doubt the battery is bad... BTW, my cars is a 2005, my mistake.

Battery is "Bosch", 1 1/2 years old, should still be OK. And as stated before, fob will unlock it from far away, so the battery is OK, right?

yes, from what you state about the two batteries, everything is ok. have you disconnected and then re-connected the batt. cable? and do try the fob in the glove box slot (but only after you try the batt. disconnect thing and see if it solves your issues). I'd also go have a load test done on the battery. no guarantees that a new-ish batt. is still good. but if it had been an OE '05 batt., I'd definitely suggest you get a new batt.

Yes, I did disconnect and leave over night. And it worked for a week. But now it's the same again. Anybody with a solution to my entry problems? They are not gone after I re-connect.
