Default Paddle Shift module questions.

Has anybody done this mod on a LS2? Just curious as to how they like the upgrade how much and where to find the module?

See my post #22 -- http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...dle-shift.html -- on doing it yourself for free.

You can also purchase a replacement module from East Coast Supercharging.

To answer you other question, I love it and use the paddles daily to keep shifting instinctive with them for track and autox use. I drive the car as if it had a manual keeping it in roughly the same gear and the same times and for the same reasons. Just don't need a clutch. Plus, it makes left-foot braking natural, as well.

Default Question for paddle shift autos

For those drag racing or otherwise w/ a modded LS motor & tune, but particularly at the strip. Are you just putting your autos in drive & letting the tuner's program run the shifts, or are you manually shifting w/ paddles or stick at redline? When I drove a stock paddle shift, non Z-51, car I was very disapointed in the shifts. Very soft whether manual or just floor it & go.

WOW thanks!! I could possibly do this myself but kinda would be nervous. I might just look for a used module or go to ECS and have it done since they are only 50 miles away from me, while I'm there I might get a tune to for my bone stock LS2 LOL

very simple to do if you use the wiring diagram and follow the wire colors. Just swap the wires and your there
