Transmission Trouble - HELP
In any case, I got my 2008 C6 coupe about 2 months ago. I just noticed that when going freeway speeds, 60-70 mph, and romp on the gas, the trans just slips like crazy and the car goes to redline and wont accelerate at all
When the RPM's drop back down and after about 3 seconds, the trans will then engage again and then power to the wheels is restored. I'm pretty pissed as the GTO I had was pristine. Before I take it to the dealer, does anybody have any ideas on this? Are there known issues with this auto trans? (I've not found much relating to my issue). Is there something I should raise with the dealer, well besides the obvious? Any suggestions or advice would be really appeciated as I'm still learning about the Vette. Thanks
BTW, I bought this from a Chevrolet dealer with 16,000 miles and is completely stock back in September.

Hopefully, either you'll find info in CF's history of threads, or someone else with A6 knowledge will chime in. Good luck, welcome and to me, it does not sound normal at all.
