This fall I am going to have an eight rib A&A V3 Si trim supercharger system (goal 650 rwhp), meth injection, and an ACT twin disk clutch installed on my 2007 C6. I would like to get feedback from those of you who have the ACT installed.
One person said there were "lockout problems" with the ACT but could someone explain what that is? Others said they are satisfied without being very specific. I would like to get feedback on stiffness compared to stock, smoothness of engagement (not grabby, etc), any rattling or other clutch noise, holding power once it locks up, longevity if you have had one for a couple of years, pedal staying on the floor and not returning or any other comments you think would be useful.
If that's your absolute max whp you want then go with an LS9 clutch setup. And there's no need for all the extra $ associated with an 8 rib setup for 650whp.
I've had my ACT Twin T1S installed for several thousand miles now. Engagement and pedal pressure are as stock, literally. There is no rattle with the clutch pedal depressed because the floater plate is strapped. No pedal to the floor syndrome with >700 RWHP. I'm very happy with it.

I want to get the max rwhp I can using the BAP and stock pump without going to a more expensive fuel system. I was told that would be 650-700 rwhp. I was also told I would need the 8 rib to prevent belt slip. Since it will be mainly street driven, I have no plans to increase hp beyond that. That will save me $1,000. Thanks a lot!

Sounds good. This seems like the best bang for the buck for what I plan to do with my car. Thanks for the feedback.
