I am looking for some idea on what would be the best line lock system to use on my C6. I have an automatic and want to lock the front tires for a burn out and then on the line. I will be using drag radials. Need to improve my 60 foot time!!!

Have you tried a system and had positive results?
Both my friend and I have been using the one from Cartek for over two years now and it's been working great without a single issue.
I have headers and wondered if the location of the Cartek line lock comes close to the headers. My guess is it's not an issue but needed to ask.
No issue on mine. What's nice about cartek is they put the solenoid in a stock line for you. All you do is replace your stock line with theirs and wire it up. I did mine with a remote relay so I didn't have to run a wire an mount it. I activate and deactivate mine by a wireless key fob.

Thanks for info, that sounds like the way to go.Which remote relay system did you use?

There is no cheap adapters, fittings or anything to mess with. Everything bolts in and all you need is to run a power wire and bleed the front brakes. There is a heat shield option for guys with headers and it works great. Steve is a great guy and I like supporting the local small shops, especially when they are racers themselves like Steve is.
We also run RSD's 5 point roll bar, LS7 cam and short shifter
Rich, got a picture of how you mounted your switch? I drilled into the little tombstone on the center console and mounted it under the arm rest, but couldn't put the backing nut on because of how that part attaches. Looking for a better way to install the switch.

I mounted it on the same place. It is right where the suspension switch would be in a F55 car.

remote relay like this is the best. screw running wires and drilling more holes.

I thought about that, but did not want to have my hand up in front of my face during the burnout. It is nice to have it close to the steering wheel and shifter, not on the roof. Lol

do you have to hold the button down the whole time?
