Default Traction control

Z51 handeling package

Unplugged battery for HUD install. HAd Traction control on/off and competition mode.

HUD install complete....only have traction on/off now. What would be the issue? New owner here, steep learning curve. :P

Just throwing stuff out for consideration:

Is TPMS working? All tires properly inflated and registering with the computer?

Did you have the console out for any reason? If yes, maybe the switch/plug was damaged on reinstall.

Nope tpms not registering correctly. Right front went off line. Tire shop tried to reprogram to fix it. Determined to be bad..... Now rt fr works, the others don't. Get 0 or XX.

Wouldn't doubt me breaking switch on reinstall though.

Will look into TPMS issue first to see if this corrects it.
Thanks

You can't program just one TPMS sensor. You have to do all 4 every time. That's the only way the computer can learn. And you have to do them in the correct order, start with left front, right front, right rear and left rear. That's probably the problem.

Edit: Oooop, I wrote the order incorrectly, fixed. Sorry.

Had this problem when I did my stereo.....go drive the car for a while and the TPMS should get a reading in each tire, then it should allow you to adjust active handling.

Default Thank you

The culprit was the incorrectly programmed TPMS on the other tires. Brought it back abd got the double beep on the horn. Alls well.

Thank you again gentlemen.
