What do you use to cut the donuts off of the lowering bolts?

It's just tuff to get in there but it can be done w/ a little patience. But removing them is a considerble amount of work, so it's worth the frustration vs taking everything apart.

So true, unbolt the bottom of the shock and push them up out of the way for some extra room when working on that bolt, makes all the difference.

The quickest & simplest way to lower the car is to let all the air out of the tires. If you want it even lower, remove the wheels and run on the brake rotors. Of course both of these methods do have some drawbacks....but they are quick & easy.

If you don't want to go real low there is no need to cut the bushing...

I'm going to lower mine in the spring, but im not ganna take my suspension apart. I'm just ganna get in there and hack them off.

I tried to cut mine the first time I did it and it was a huge pain in the rear. Well worth the money to go out and buy the lowering bolts and just swap them out.

^ how so? I was under the car the other day and it looked kinda easy...tight but doable..
are the bushings hard as rock or something?

what about a blow torch and melt them a bit to make them easier? hahaha idk im just thinking out loud.

sawz-all is god. if you dont have one then why the hell not buy one. it can be done without removing the bolts but alot easier if you do. i removed my rears cut off the bushing with sawz-all and replaced with 1/4'' bushings takes less than a hour to remove and reinstall them.
