Flashing A/C head unit....

Driving to work today and the A/C head unit began flashing.. After reading other posts on here it has been suggested that this is what the unit does before going out. As an 05 its out of warranty and would like to replace myself. How much is this part and where can I acquire one?

Our Vendors gmpartshouse.com or partstaxi.com are the best sources. I "think" they run around $400 but not sure. Just contact the vendors and ask. You might get lucky and someone could chime in here that they have one for a reduced price. Good luck.

It's a pretty common failure part. Based only on what I've read here over the years, seems some will last weeks some only days. If you depend on the HVAC daily it isn't something you want to procrastinate on (my opinion only).

I've been chasing a problem with my A/C controls also. It looks like I may have an extra head unit if you want. PM me if interested.
