HUD switch assembly question
My HUD appears stuck very low where only the top part shows. The up down keys don't work. The owner of Top Flight Corvette in San Diego said it's more than likely a common problems on '05s. The HUD switch assembly. I can buy another assembly but is it hard to replace? Hoping not to remove the dash. Anyone have pictorial instructions?

That's a new one for me.....not aware of a regular problem with those switches. Anyway, if you are going to change them you need to take the instrument panel surround off. Not a huge deal but finicky. Here's an old DIY, you only need to go as far as picture #4. Good luck.

FWIW what you describe is often a broken mount on the HUD housing or mirror mount inside. Just sayin'. I hope it's just the switches.
