No problems or regrets, I run an even bigger stroke than that in my personal car

Friend has one from Virginia Speed I think.. Made 670 at the crank or somethin... Its a beast. Prob the same motor I'd do if my stock one gives up.

I'm building a LS3 429 for my project car, 4.1" stroke and 4.080" bore..If you by from a good builder you won't have any problems..
