I was going to use eyes to connect my battery tender to the studs on battery. Does anyone know the thread count, don't want to use the wrong size nut. Going to use a nut on top of the correct cone shaped nut. Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas !!!!

If memory serves, it's an M6 metric nut that you're after. It's been a while since I connected my tender to the battery so if you're going to the store to get the nuts, you may consider getting a couple of M5's too. Sheesh, the longer I think about this, the more I doubt myself. Dang it.

Unless I'm all wet, the small metric fasteners come in one pitch (thread count). That is, they do not come in fine and course thread pitch.

I just used a ring terminal under the nut that is used on battery cable connector.

We did this video in my garage 2 years ago.

Coincidentally, I just hooked up my battery tender last week....used a couple of 3/16x20 wingnuts that I had laying around. Fit perfectly & the wingnuts make for easy installation & removal.
