Can the cable be removed and re-installed without dropping the exhaust and tunnel plate? I already have the shifter removed.

i have done several of them, dropping the tunnel plate makes it waaay easier.

I don't have a service manual, so I don't know what's holding up the front section of the cable. Is there a bracket that holds the cable? Is this the part that makes the R/R easier with the tunnel plate removed?
