Default Road irreguarity steering problems

Recently got a 2010 GS and I am really disappointed in the road irregularity steering problems it is exibiting. I just sold a 2005 with 70 plus thousand miles on it and it had no problems whatsoever. I know that wider rims and tires may tend to cause a little road irregularity steering problems (I have had Corvettes in the past with aftermarket wide rims) but this 2010 GS is far worst than any thing I have felt before. Car has less than 2000 miles on it and the problem seems to be getting worst. Anybody else having this problem with their Z06 or GS???

Some have asked the same thing but I don't think there is any problem per se. Some drivers are more sensitive to the situation, some cars may be set up a little different from the factory, spec ranges are quite broad. Some cars come out precise, some sloppy, but all are technically in spec. You may have to at least have the alignment checked at a competent shop and possibly set up out of spec so that it feels right to you. A good discussion with the technician could accomplish that. You might want to try C6 General for more eyes and discussion. Good luck.

Good suggestions. I have an excellent alignment shop near me that I'm sure will work with me. Good to hear it doesn't sound like an inherant problem.

completely normal with wide wheels/tires, lifted trucks with wider tires do the same thing, after a while you'll get used to it

A touch of front toe in will help reduce the wandering. Spec is for 0 toe with the tolerance being a little toward more toe out than toe in. My Z has almost no wander at all.

Take it to the dealership. They should do it under warranty with that few of miles.
