Can the stock 19" rear wheels (non widebody) be widened to make a wider tire fit under the stock fenders? I know you can do this with an 18" wheel, but I want to keep the 19" in the back. Does anyone make a tire that will fit a stock rear 19" wheel that is widened 1"?

The problem is that you'll be adding the 1" to the inside and I think it will rub under the stock fenders. You need a wheel with the proper offset to make it work.
CCW will make you a 12" wheel that fits if you to go that route.
That fits the regular C6? I know their 19x11" fits.
Seems like tires for a 12" would stick out too much. I have Invo 325s on my LGs and I think the 305s would look better. Unless there is more room inside the wheel that LG didn't use, 335s & 345s would look weird. Anyone have a photo of this?

John at CCW told me that they do it "all the time", when I was looking, but decided on BBS wheels instead.
You should be able to widen the stock wheel 1" without any issues.
A 305 would look much better on an 11" wheel than it would on a 10" wheel.
I'm using up the rear tires I have now and will be sending my Crays off to widen them from 10.5" up to 11.5"
That's what I want to do. Keep the stock offset and just put another inch of rubber under the fender. There is room to go towards the center of the car with the tire. So they do make a tire that will fit a
19" x 11" wide wheel?
I have a set of 1" widened stock 19" rear rims (now 11" wide) and run Toyo R888 305/30/19 tires on them. They don't rub on the inside and don't stick out of the fenders on the outside.

Proof enough. Can you check to see if it is at least 5/16-5/8" away from the upper control arm?

You can't keep the stock offfset if you add an inch to the back of the wheel. Offset is measured from the center of the wheel so by adding an inch you moved the center of the wheel 1/2" which moves the offset by 12.7mm.
I believe what he meant was that he wanted the face of the wheel to be in the same physical location. Not pushed out or in, so yes, after widening 1" to the inside the offset would change.
Along the same lines, is it possible to add an inch to stock wheels on the inside, and mount a OEM supercar tire from a Z06 with no rubbing issues (of control arm)?
