2005 C6 ventilation system question
Hi all, Can anyone tell me if a faulty Mode Control Actuator can cause the Mode Door (Curtain) to tear in the Air Con/Ventilation system of a 2005 Corvette.
I have had two Mode Doors fail in eight months the first I had repaired by a dealer. With a repair bill of over $2000, this time I have pulled the dash out myself. I have got to the point where I can see the door wrapped around the bottom roller.
If I hot wire the actuator it rotates ok but I am wondering if it could be faulty and in normal operation maybe it is not stopping at the correct point and ripping the mode door off the top roller. What do you think?

Edit: As long as you're in there again might as well do all 3 remaining doors (IIRC there are 4 total).
