Default Z06 rear end

I'm looking to change gears in my C6. I know a Z06 rear end will not fit in a C6 but I remember reading somewhere where there is a kit you can buy so that install can be accomelished. Anyone know anything?

If you have a 2006+ you will need a z06 tailhousing and 30 spline mainshaft to put the z06 rear in. If you have a 08+ you will need the tr6060 z06 tailhousing and mainshaft.

That's with a manual, on a 2006 and up automatic I believe it's much easier.

Is your car an automatic or manual?

Call Pfadt Racing, order their "offset differential mounts" and voila, it becomes a straight bolt-in without any needed changes to the transmission.

Since the Z06 comes with integrated cooler lines you'll have two choices regarding those - either leave most of them intact and install a loopback hose (on the little supplemental cooler on the left side of it) or you can plug the lines and install a replacement cover (from Zip Corvettes, I believe) to remove the cooler entirely.
