It's important to note that most GS buyers bought for the look, not the performance. That also means any 1/4 mile times will be more likely from owners who care less about the performance and have minimal track experience to produce realistic results.
The GS buyers who are performance minded probably already modded the car, therefore bone stock times won't exist there either.
Just because you wear the jersey with the quarterback's number on it, doesn't mean you can play the position.

I disagree, Performance minded people want to know what their new GS runs stock so they have a baseline, than they will know how much of an improvement any mods make.

Thats a bold statement!
I tend to disagree with you and await GS owners to voice their feelings.

What it runs baseline, is what a given driver can do and the DA of the track. I doubt they will be much different than other LS3 times, especially for the non-GS cars that have launch control.
Are you looking for ballpark numbers? I notice that you did not post yours.

1) What your car runs with you driving it is what is important to you and what counts in the real world.
2) Due to being heavier and wider than the base coupe the GS "on average" may be a slower vehicle.
AND
3) I did not post my times because I did not want to "intimidate" other GS owners into not posting, after all I "may" or "not" be your typical 250 lb. Fat Man with a full tank of gas.

agree. I use to track my Camaro. got to be too expensive a hobby once I could baseline every change and thought "hey another .1 or .2 would be perfect.

Not much heavier, but with slightly better rubber. Any difference is well within the "Fat man" range of driving error.

Ha Ha that's funny.
Going to call : on this one.
If you are one of the few that can cut a 1.7x 60' on stock runcraps, post it up in the 1/4 mile challenge sticky and enjoy the kudos. If you are a mere mortal, we can accept your 2.0 60' and if you race on a crappy track we won't boot you off the board for a 2.2
Excellent result.
Better than I did on my runcraps.
Being your from Maryland and I am too. The track times are from Capitol Raceway; it's not the best hooking track in MD and the track surface was cold to boot. They say if you can run the number at Capitol, you can run it anywhere.
You go to MIR if your really looking for "great" 60 ft. times and Cecil for your best 1/4 mile ET. IMHO
PS: I/we are still waiting for someone to post, this thread seems to have fallen on blind eyes.

Good point...but if that's true then why are there so few track times being posted for stock GSs?

If you want to know what the average stock GS runs then just look at what the average stock C6 LS3 runs and you'll likely be within a few hundredths. One might experience better traction and one might be a little lighter so it's almost a wash.
I think I know whats going on & why no one has Maned Up.
The GS owners have been watching intently from day one for anything regarding GS performance, especially in OEM configuration being these cars are still new.
I (250 lb. Fat Man with full tank of gas ) have posted before my "total stock" times with a "posted time slip" in the thread. I also came back a week or two later with a new "lower" time but I had cut an opening for fresh air and fabricated a intake using a OEM filter and housing which in my book is no longer a stock set-up. Perhaps some have already searched my previous threads/posts too and decided not to post.
Hey!! but I could be wrong.

Not true, I also posted the challenge over there too.
See # 3 response of mine from my previous post AND they may not be getting the times most here assume. That is why I started this thread!
So what part do you think is not true? That the GS owners are mostly on the General Forum or that the interest there is mostly appearance?
You're certainly not getting a lot of mileage from this approach.
The lone GS on the fast list already modded, so no stock times there. The first bone stock GS to post gets to be number one on the list for bragging rights.
My statement about GS owners wanting "the look" is backed up by 49% of 2010 sales being GS and Z06 sales fell to only 4%.
Only a small percentage of Vette owners ever take their car to the drags and that group doesn't have many appearance members. I go to the track quite often and haven't seen a GS there, but lots of them at the car shows.
If those GS guys "have been watching intently from day one" and no one has posted stock times, that should tell you they're more interested in watching than racing.
