I have a client that's getting rid of his LG Long Tube header off his 2001 Z06. I have an 06 C6 will those headers fit my car?

They have the same heads so it should mate up there. Not sure about the mounting and frame bends though. Someone will know for sure.

if they fit the c6 lg would call them c5/c6 headers they would have the same part#s price would be the same. if they are cheap buy them and sell em to make a lil profit towards c6 headers.

They should fit but not totally perfectly, it could be a little close in a few areas.
Cartek Racing had one of the first C6s to ever be modified (August/September 2004) and there were no 'C6 specific' headers out at that point so they used C5 headers and they fit with only some minor 'clearancing' needed.

The bellhousing on the C6 is larger than the C5. The primaries on the C5 headers, after the block, make the turn to the tunnel sooner and they will not clear the C6 bell.

Bobby I know this is an OLD post, but will headers work the other way around? Will C6Z headers work on a C5 if the C5 has an LS7?
