Just drive it for 40-50 miles. If it throws a code(CEL), then clear the CEL by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes, Then index your door glass and you're ready to go. If the CEL comes back on, then you might have a problem with air turbulence screwing up the MAF. If that happens, then you have to fix the turbulence problem.

What do you mean index your door glass ?? I had a C5 and it threw codes with my Halltech, I hope this K@N system doesn't do it with my C6 Z.

thx for the reply

He means "re-index you door glass". It's in the owner's manual.

Actually I said what I meant. From my GM 2009 owners manual, but we were both wrong. The correct term is "initialized"

Window Indexing.

This feature automatically lowers the window a small
amount when the door is opened. When the door is
closed, the window will raise to its full up position. If either
window does not index properly, it could be due to loss of
power. Before returning to your dealer/retailer for service,
perform the power window initialize procedure.
Power Window Initialize
After a power reconnect such as battery replacement,
the window index-up feature will not function until
the system is initialized.
Once power is restored:
1. Close the door.
2. Raise the window and hold the switch up for
three seconds after the window is closed.
3. Release the switch, then hold the switch up again
for three seconds and release.
