Default C6 Computer

Hi, I have a question concerning a 2010 C6 computer. Is it possible to buy a new computer? If so....is GM the only place to buy?

You can buy about anything. Which "computer" are you talking about and to what purpose?

There are only 3 computers used in the C6 corvettes.

E40-used in 2005 (24x reluctor wheel)
E38 2006-up LS2s, LS3s, LS7s (58x reluctor wheel)
E67 LS9 (ZR1)

If this for an E38 computer you can use any E38 regardless of vehicle make, or model as long as it is GM. It doesn't matter if it is a V6 Impala or a Buick because it will have to be calibrated before it can be used in your car. Check auction sites, they are as cheap as $50.

Cancel this thread request......my question could be misconstrued as unscrupulous intentions.
