C5 wheels on base c6

C5 wheels on base c6
did a search but did not find what i was looking for. wanted to know if painted 5 spoke c5 wheels would fit on my base 2008 coupe without looking funny, and will my tpms work on them .anything else to look out for?

As for the TPMS, C5 sensors won't work with the C6 computer. C6 sensors should fit in the C5 wheels, AFIK. Others may have more positive info. Good luck.

Here's a C6 with 17" wagon wheels (painted grey) on the back and C5 Z06 17s on the front:

Not a real clear view but with 17" thin spokes on the back:
They seem to fit well and look decent enough too I guess.

Ditto, I don't get it myself, but I guess to each their own. C5Z rims are one of the greatest designs GM created, but they belong on LS1 Camaros and C5s not on C6s imho, also I would never want smaller wheels personally. That's my 2 cents tho.

there are more choices for drag radials and regular tires in 18 and 17 inch sizes

What ever happened with this? Im curious as well if C5Z wheels fit all the way around on our C6 coupes? Before people say "why would you want smaller diameter wheels"? I'll go ahead and answer,because when your making big horsepower you absolutely have to have drag radials with sidewall...thanks
