I'm about to purchase my first Vet! I have a small problem and I'm seekeng any feedback I can get.
The vehicle is a 2006 Convertible with 13k. When the top is down, at about 55 to 60mph I hear a low volume "rattle" that appears to be coming from the assembly that connects the windshield to the top. It is intermittent and not evident at all speeds. The sound is not heard with the top up.
I'm wondering if anyone has had the same experience or any knowledge of a similiar problem.

Thank you,

I had a similar rattle in my 06 vert , in my case there was a connector in the drivers side a pillar near the top that was making the noise. I wrapped the connector in some foam , end of noise. Good luck
Could be the tonneau cover. As you're driving and hearing the rattle, press down on it to see if it stops or changes. When the top is up, there is pressure on the tonneau cover. There are vinyl adjustment screws/stops underneath the tonneau cover that you can access when the cover is in its up position.
Welcome and good luck and enjoy the new ride!

Thanks so much for the guidance, may I ask, was there any disassembly required?
