Thanks Elmer.
that is what I was scared of.

Okay next question, what is the inlet/outlet configuration of the stock pump. I am trying to match it up to the appropriate 255 style pump.

Thanks

This is the pump I am considering

I just received my 340 yesterday from UPS. That pump will do nicely for a little over 500. After I get my install done, we'll tweak the tune and peak out the PE settings and see how we do as we get near the 500 numbers.

Keith, IMO that 340 pump would support ~700 RWHP witout a BAP. Well over 600 fo' sho'.

Looks like we're in the same boat on this one. I was planning on putting in a Z06 pump in place of my C6 pump and BAP. Now I'm looking at the Aeromotive 340 and selling my new uninstalled Z06 pump.

Here is mine. The pump on the right is the factory Walbro. The pump on the left is a GSS340 HP 255 lph. The 255 that matches the factory Walbro is the GSS342 which has the inlet and the outlet offset. I used the 340 solely because of the large central inlet.

I hate to bring this back from the dead but what do these stock pumps support without any boost-a-pump? I started tuning on a LS2 C6 yesterday and it has Kook's LT's, Xpipe and borla exhaust with a MagnaCharger 2300. We custom spec'd a cam for him as well 227/243 117lsa 113icl and with a 2.8" pulley it's building right around 7psi but above 5200rpm it starts starving for fuel. I've added a bunch of fuel through the injectors but it doesn't matter what I do it still starts going lean. We haven't had a chance to get a pressure gauge on it to verify but we are 99% positive that it's the fuel pump.

This same car made 519rwhp when it was stone stock with the blower only on it @ 6.5psi. I'm nearly positive that the cam and longtubes has picked him up tremendously but was wondering what the pump would support. Looks like it will be getting a walbro pump in it now.

I have heard that the stock LS2 fuel pump will support 525-550 rwhp. Seeing that you have a blower on this car, it will most likely be less since the AFR will be richer than an N/A car. You are most likely out of pump at this point.

Thanks for the clarification fella's we are going to put a Walbro pump in there for him and get it retuned. With the mods this thing has we are hoping for mid 600's to the tire.

I'm still not fond of this blower however cause it heat soaks so fast. IAT's go from 90* to 130* in one gear....
