The VIN doesn't telll you much about the car, i.e. you won't find the trim level, etc. in the VIN. You can look at the RPO code sticker in your glove compartment to find everything that was built into the car as it came down the assembly line.
BTW, all Vettes are built at the Bowling Green plant!
However, when you look at that original thread you started in the General Section, you'll find info about the VIN, and that http://www.compnine.com site will give you everything you ever wanted to know about your car.
Thanks BEZ06. I followed the VIN link you mentioned - good source. I don't own the car in question. I was contacted by a seller who provided Chevy file photos (eVOX) of two different C6s with different paint, lots of std. and optional equipment listed for the car identified as a 2009 C6. The "listed" MSRP was $74k+, offered at $49,999 with zero miles. I wanted enough info to judge whether the deal was too good to be true especially with a $24k price reduction!
