Default 18" Wheels

Considering going to 18's in the rear on my C6 for track days.
What are my options for wheels?
Can I get a rear tire in comparable size to stock so the "nannies" will not be a problem??
Thanks

Tire Rack has options as well as CCW.

Tons of tire choices.

I have a 05 with 5 spoke polished wheels, & got a pair of 04 (18") rear "Thin 5 Spoke" I think they are 18x9" or 18x10" they fit perfectly, & I use MT or Nitto 305/35x18" Drag Radials...

Perfect fit I have the narrow body (stock c6) ans those wheels fit perfect.. & you can get them at the right price !!

You can also look for spins widened wheel thread, and run the factory front wheel in the back. Spinmonster is his screen name.

18" C5 "wagon wheels" are used by many C6 guys for track rear wheels.

YES.. but I drive on the street a lot with my DR.. and the wagon wheels look ugly as hell on the back... so I got the 18" thin spoke polished from an 04 & they look almost the same to the untrained eye...

I just wouldn't want to drive around on the street w/wagon wheels on the rear, and polished 5 spoke on the front...

Default C5Z 18s

I have a 06 coupe and I run the 18 inch Speedlines from the C5Z (front and back). 275 up front and 305 out back.

This is my track setup for the roadcourse...not sure if you need something else for other track senarios.

I was answering the OP's question. He mentions track days not street at all.

Thanks, yes the question was related to road course setups. No problem with the granny's? Planning to drive to and from track.

I thought C5 wheels had a different offset and stick out a little.

I havent had any issues with the grannys. I think the different in tire sizes are just good enough.

I did have to get a new set of TPS for the track wheels, and I have a tool to reprogram them.

Yes, they have a different offset and arent perfect for the C6. But for the track, I'm not goingfor looks, just functionality.

They are lightweight (compared to C6 wheels), have tons of clearance (with stock brakes), and are relativly cheap to find.
