Default LS2 to 3 maf swap

has anyone done this with any documented results. im looking to switch from my ls2 airaid intake to a ls3 k&n intake with blade style maf. i haven't talked to my tuner about it yet. not worried about cost all i have to do is trade and throw in a 6pack. allready have ls3 maf just need connceter or cheap adaptor plug. looking for proof that this would be worth the effort.

I'm going to be doing this also. I have all the parts already just have to put it on and get it tuned. You wont really get much power maybe 5whp the only real reason I'm chaging it is because I'm going with a 102mm throttle body and dont want the stock 85mm maf to be a bottleneck. The other reason is people that are boosted peg the ls2 maf out and go with the ls3/7.

While a bigger diameter MAF does lower frequency, you still get to the max reading (Gms/cyl) early and it doesnt do any fueling by MAF beyond that point. ts only benefit is not triggering the high freq fail test. You can just turn that off anyway.
