Default Rear spoiler question

I Couldnt find this on a search so I am asking.

I like the look of a rear spoiler. And I understand most people add one for looks. But is it functional or which one is more functional?

I have a 2010 Grand Sport which comes with the Z06 spoiler. my confusion is why the ZR1 spoiler is almost exactly opposite.

If having the Z06 is functional at higher speeds why is the ZR1 lower in the center and taller on the sides.

Thanks in advance

Very few companies actually wind tunnel test their products to see if they work. We do. You can view our wind tunnel report on our website.

Unless you plan on racing and driving at speeds over 100 mph a lot, I would not worry about function as much as what looks good to you.
You can buy the full width spoiler, ZR1 full width spoiler, or any number of aftermarket ones.
I personally went with the standard full width spoiler.
But if you want the most downforce, then I would think the ZR1 would be it as it is the largest but it will also create more drag.
