bad rockers
car rides and drives like a dream, i've had 0 issues with this car and it doesn't need a roof recall nor does it fall under the bad batch of rockers. best 07 on the net. driven, yet not a daily driver and mechanically sound. $45k firm in austin texas.
The post above came from the for sale section of this site. Anyone know what he is talking about when he says "bad batch of rockers"? I have an 07 and was wondering if there were any other known problems other than the roof panel.

Rocker arm failures. Bad batch of rocker arms, seen in a handful of cars with engine build dates between 1/07 and 7/07. The cure for this, if anyone has one of these cars is to have new stock OEM valve springs and rockers installed for those who are concerned about it.

The bearings are an easy fix in any case. You can order the kit from Comp Cam and install them yourself or have a local shop do the swap.

I have a set of rocker arms with stock trunions removed in the C5 for sale section for $50 shipped. You can do upgrade w/o a lot of downtime. I was going to do comp upgrade but went with YTs when doing head swap. LMK if interested.
