You didn't say your year. Personally I don't think there is much difference between Mobil 1, AMSOIL, and the rest of the top synth. oils. I just stick with what it says in the manual. It says Mobil 1 so thats what it gets. Personally I think this is another one of those what is better Ford or Chevy debates where everyone has their favorite but bottom line is they are about the same. Just my $.02. Here is the big FAQ section. All the answers there. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...questions.html

The last article I read on oil filters gave the best reviews on : K+N, Mobil1, Royal Purple, Wix and Napa. As for oil, Mobil 1 is good, also check out Amsoil and Royal Purple. I've been using all the Royal Purple products for years, works for me. Enjoy that Magnuson.

AMSOIL offers two lines of filters, the AMSOIL Ea Oil Filter and Wix Filters.

Here are the applicable part numbers for the C6:
05-06:
AMSOIL EA15K32
Wix 51042

07-10:
AMSOIL EA15K50
Wix 57060

Info on how to get these in my sig.

I personally have always used Wix filters as I have felt most comfortable with their design. Just recently I have switched to an Amsoil filter, as listed above, thanks to Subdriver. I have not ran the car on the road since oil change although after much research I feel like it is a top notch filter. As far as oil, I have just also switched to Amsoil. At the suggestion of ECS and A&A I felt that thier experiance speaks for themselves. If they endorse it, I am on board. Just my .02 cents.
