Gas smell

With a weather break I took the Car out for a drive. I know it was sitting for a bit before I went out. I noticed a considerable Gas smell. I drove it a few miles and it was still there. I gave it a look see as I thought I had a
injector leak but all appeared ok around the Engine Bay. It was running
perfectly before but now I don't know what to think ?

Change your cabin filter. It will do the trick.

Had the same problem with mine, found the cabin filter door was partially open

Mine has actually blown off before and landed on top of the battery.

You are right. I found it laying on top of the Battery. I didn't even know it was there. Thanks guys. Leon

any ideas on how it blows off? that sounds strange because it doesn't seem like it has a lot of pressure on it, but I could be wrong.

Def not pressure inside blowing it out from what I can tell. Think it has more to do with underhood pressure and airflow. Mine generally blows off after some serious speed like at the Miami Mile.
