Are you willing to guarantee those gains in writing? I'd be very interested in one if you do because if I bought one and saw little to no gains the last thing I'm gonna wanna here is something along the lines of "Well it worked on all the other cars we tried it on...".

Default Great 1st Mod

This mod is well worth the price just for the improvement in throttle response on the LS3. The extra HP was just icing on the cake. There is no down side. Just be specific with the particular year.

Are these any different from the previous vmax cnc versions? These available for the ls7 too, correct? No idle fluctuation or surging with no tune?

So from the test I just read, it appears that if you have an aftermarket intake the gains are basically a wash?

Stock Pull - 363rwhp

With the cold air intake and stock throttle-body it made 378rwhp (379 after tuning)
With the stock air intake and ported throttle-body it made 377rwhp
With the cold air intake and ported throttle body it made 377rwhp (380 after tuning)

Also, on the article with the LS2 GTO it showed only 9rwhp gain from a ported LS2 Intake AND Throttle body.

That sounds like a good deal to me

12-16 rwhp is in the realm of unbelievable for a throttle body, but I'd be willing to try one with a money-back guarantee. If I saw 10+ I'd be satisfied.

So on a full bolton car minus the TB (air intake, ported FAST, UP, longtubes, catless X and borla exhaust) can you say that you're confident I would see 10+ rwhp gain?

What is the timeline for returning the stock TB to recover the core charge?

Here's what I recorded for my car on 4-24-09. When the TB arrived, I took it to the track and swapped it out with the original after making 2 passes to get real world results that a dyno won't show. I don't see HP gains because the MPH didn't increase, but apparently the response time changed to improve the 60' numbers, which translated to slightly better ETs.

Certainly not a major mod, yet clearly indicated some improvement. I wasn't expecting much for $150, but something is always better than nothing. I'd guess it would be more evident on a manual car, especially in normal driving where quicker response is more desirable.

1/4 mile test results DA corrected
2 passes for baseline - 11.92 @ 121.24 & 11.96 @ 121.17
2 passes after install - 11.90 @ 121.18 & 11.90 @ 121.05

Most evident as 60' dropped from 1.97 & 1.97 to 1.95 & 1.94

Wouldn't the lower trap speed indicate LESS HP?

I would certainly pay $150 for 12-16 RWHP but....

Was thinking of installing one on myself. Good u-tube video out there on a 2010 Camaro ss with a before and after on the V-max. The only mod is a CAI.

stock run HP- 371.89 TQ- 367.53

V-max HP- 380.51 TQ- 378.50

HP Gain 8.62 TQ Gain 10.97

Not bad for $150.00! Looks like it was done totally legit!

Seems like one of the best (and cheapest) mods for the C6.........

How do I get one? Send in my core then wait for a new one? Core deposit?

Price is $150 plus $15 S&H and a $200 core deposit on the LS3/7, and $300 on the LS2.

Add $50 for custom paint. When you recieve your CNC ported unit then swap it for your stock one and ship back per the instructions in the box and your core charge will be returned via the same method you payed with.

Lead time right now on the LS3/7 is app 2-3 weeks, LS2's are in stock right now. The LS2 will not work on the LS3/7 cars.
LS2/3/7 throttle bodies are all interchangeable up to either 2008 or 2009 (I'm waiting to hear back from my dealership contact to find out which year it was exactly) as I'm currently running an LS2 throttle body on my LS7.

I think that the 09 and up throttle bodies are different.
