Front Rotors Turned ??
I had my front rotors turned today at a local PepBoy's shop.
$20.37 total
WORKED GREAT - Brakes have no pulsing at all.
AFTER they were turned the guy (kid) at the shop tells me Corvette rotors should never be turned because of the "hard coating" on "sports car" rotors. ???? Hell, they wore down with a nice ridge around the outside, and pulsed like crazy... where did that "hard coating" go?
I've had many rotors turned before - never a problem.
BTW... I reused the stock brake pads that still had a TON of meat left.
I did buy new pads, but returned when I saw how good mine still are.
