Default Keep the Coilovers or not?

I recently bought a 2006 Z06 and it came with Penske Adjustable Gas Coil-over shocks with remote canisters. I like how low the car sets but i believe with the setup they have on the car now, they removed the front leaf spring (not sure about the rear if they removed the leaf spring or not.) I don't plan on racing the car on a road course, is just gonna be a 750hp cruiser lol, should I keep the coil overs on there and will they ride ok? OR should i switch back to stock suspension? Also I like how low you can get the car with them, can you lower the car with the stock suspension or not?

You can lower the car on the stock suspension but probably not as easily as with the coil overs. They more than likely removed the rear spring since that is usually what is done and it becomes superflous after the coil overs are installed. To go back to stock you may have to buy all new springs and shock, get a corner balance to get the springs adjusted correctly and a new alignment. I would stick with the coil overs. Handling is a premium that you need if you have that much HP. If you are just a stab the throttle and hang on style of driver then you might not notice what they do for you but they just might save your butt if you push a little to hard.

I agree with Bill. You have a setup that a lot of folks would love to have and I see zero downside to it.
