I have a set of ls3 headers, will they fit the ls7? I'm buying a c6 z06!

They'll fit just fine regardless what size the primaries are as I'm running 1-3/4" headers that were originally on my LS2.

Why do some people say they wont fit? Something about a different port on the ls7 compared to ls3.

Because unfortunately "some people" quite often don't have even the slightest clue as to what they're talking about before going online and making claims that something will or won't work for whatever reason.

Trust me, they fit.
