Default GP on Racestar drag wheels!

Ok guys I talked to mike today and he gave me the go ahead for the gp. He said we need atleast 6 sets of wheels whether it be just skinnies or rears or both. He said he would do 25% off. Even 25% off of his lugnut washer packages, if u need them. So if u are interested in a set, post up in this thread and once we've got enough then ill give ur names to him and then y'all can contact him and pay him directly and he will mark each name off the gp list as y'all pay. Any questions just ask. Thanks.

Lol sorry. I assumed people had read my other thread.
Fronts 17x4.5 reg price $270
Rears 17x9.5 reg price $300
lugnut washer package for 2 wheels reg price $40
lugnut washer package for 4 wheels reg price $75
Lugnut package comes with lugnuts, washers, hubcentric rings, and valve stems
So its 25% off these prices

i would have bought them a long time ago, all they have to do is make the right off-set. its to far off, sticking out that far throws sand and stones down the side of the car chipping the body and the sand takes the color right off, the wheels are not balanced to the center creating more strain on the hubs, also the extra width lengthens the axle width changing the camber on squat, cant you get them to just make them right, the c6 is really the new f body replacement vehicle for drag racers, so many sales will happen

Well I can't speak for them on that but I will say that the extra width is a minimal difference on camber. And as far as the sand and gravel go, down here in the south we dont have to worry much bout that and im sure most guys dont just take their cars anywhere, as on gravel and sand. I know I dont. But yes It would b great if they would change the offset. And it'd b great if other suppliers would too..

Agreed.

A set would already be on order from me if they were actually made for the car.

Apparently you haven't visited a lot of tracks. The return road and pits at most have some (or a lot) loose gravel on the pavement that's easily picked up by sticky drag tires. I've also raced at tracks where the pits and return roads were nothing but dirt or gravel.

We don't like it, but we deal with it the best we can.

Yes I have. And I know what ur talking about. But u also go VERY slow in the pits and down the return rd. So it wouldn't make much difference.

well I already have the fronts, will pull them off the shelby this weekend and test fit them on the vette....crossing my fingers they clear the big z06 brakes...they clear the big brembo brakes on the shelby so might be exactly as mike says and fit....from the pic on the racestar website it looks like the car is a c6 not a c6 z06 so im hoping they clear...

theses rims just don't fit, the camber will change, the rear axle is longer, that means more leverage. the whole geometry of the squat will change, if you want the best traction, a new alignment will be needed, also there is sand every where. the south doesn't have graded roads or little rocks or even bottle caps in the road, OK only the guys south of the mason dixon line can buy thesein a 9.5 rim i wouldn't recommend any less then 65mm on the back, if your car is fast and hooks really well it could crack the rear 1/4 panels, there are many suppliers that make the right off sets just more money, and if your going to run your car slow so nothing happens why even buy them
