Drivers side I assume? Mine started doing the same thing a few weeks ago. Mine is intermittent. Could happen 10 times today and then again not for a week. Someone mentioned that the harness connector might be loose under the seat. Personally, I think its the pressure switch because sometimes I can pick myself up off the seat (while driving) and then sit back down and it goes off. I'm not sure what the fix is, "if" it is the pressure switch.

This is a common problem. I've been fighting it for 5 years or more. After many trips to the dealer they replaced the drivers side pre- tensioner. That fixed it for a year or so and then it started again. There have been many post on the forum about the connectors under the seats. I've played with them with little luck. Maybe I'd go a few days and the light would come back. About a month ago I zip tied each connector closed. I used a pair of pliers to pull the tie tight. On the model with heated seats and side air bags there are five connectors. Since I did that I have not had the problem. I'm thinking I didn't even need the pre-tensioner. The tech just made a better connection under the seat.

This is two of the five.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I rearranged and pushed the connectors on the harness this A.M. and now it goes through bulb check and goes off like it should. I just had the car vacuumed and it did it after they were done. I thought then that maybe something got touched. Then again it just may have been coincidental. Time will tell.

Mine used to do this exact thing, in my case it was the connector on the drivers seatbelt. Once I seated it well, it hasn't happened in a very long time.
