Default Kooks Header & x pipe fittment

Does anyone know if a catted x pipe (part # 6609s) off of a 1 7/8 header will fit 1 3/4 headers, which use part # 6069s? If not, what sre the cons of using 1 7/8 headers on an otherwise stock 08 LS3?

no cons...some will say that the 7/8 will lose low end tq, but it has been shown it doesn't.

as for the x...That is a 3" catted x... It will fit to the headers, but you need a z06 axleback to run that x....your stock axleback will not fit.

I have a complete Kooks set-up: 1-3/4 LTs, hi-flow ctas 3 x 3 X-pipe, connected to 3" mids that reduce o 2.5" & conect to NPPs. It's all off the shelf stuff & as a matter of fact after discussing the build, was the consensus og myself, my tuner, & George at Kooks as the best combo gven my other mods (cam, ported FAST, u/d pulley). Given it made 452rwhp/418rwtq on a 228/232 114LSA cam I would say it worked well. Car's '05 Z51 6MN.

The Kooks website says it reduces to 2.5 for stock exhaust. They just show different part # for the 1 7/8 and 1 3/4 x pipe when sold as a complete system. I need to know if they are interchangeable.
