Sure. Just don't go crazy with power. I've seen LS motors with 150K miles get boosted and they still keep kicking. Just know that you're just accelerating the wear process...as with any other engine modifications.
I'm sorry but the title of this thread just reminded me of this (and I'm betting some others here thought the very same thing ) so I am forced to post it LOL.
Thanks, I was thinking of waiting for the new model to come out and then supercharge that, but it's taking so long for the c7 to come out that I'm thinking of getting this done.

Gasoline will be over $5 gallon soon. The next generation Corvette, when it eventually comes, might be a far different thing that what the talk is going around now. S/C this one, I wouldnt wait, you might be disappointed.

100%
I think about the guy back in 1970 that was undecided about whether he should buy that Chevelle SS 454 LS6 now or just wait for the '71/'72 models instead.

Just read a short interview with Carroll Shelby in C&D. He says thanks to CAFE that turbo V6 engines are the future.

I often trust what Carroll has to say as he's MUCH smarter than I when it comes to cars/engineering/the performance marketplace but I don't know if turbo V6s are the answer...lighter weight naturally aspirated V8 cars with two overdrive gears seem to be doing wonderfully well.
if you are really concerned about the health of your motor do a compression and leak down test on it. but i dont see any reason why you couldnt supercharge your car at normal boost levels 5-8 psi.
