You've been a member for 10 years this is your first post?!??!! Holy Moly!

Anyway, it's taken me a few cars to think about modding cars differently. Figure out what your goals are, then what mods will further those goals. Maybe goals are wider stance or something, or decreasing a lap time, 60-0 stopping distance or just a custom look, but in any case, figure out what you want to achieve and go from there. If you just want a little more power on the street, maybe a CAI is next for you. If you search, you'll find hundreds of threads on the topic.

Increase that 1 post per decade ratio!

600hp to the wheels is a bit of a hefty goal. i would say your probally gonna wanna do forced induction. but 600hp at wheels is close to 700 flywheel thats pushing limits of what engine can handle not to mention trans and diff.i dont know what your budget is, but i see your location says kuwait so i assume your military. i hope you just re-enlisted over there or your a officer. i would say to build a 600rwhp car that will be reliable is gonna set you back somewhere around $20,000. thats assuming you atleast do stronger rod bolts, lower compression alil, build trans, do a converter, maybe beef up diff and twin turbos plus alotta tires and gas. good luck i hope your able to reach your goals. also try posting this in the FI section since there are more than a few people in there with 600+ rwhp.

600rwhp is getting to be pretty common with FI on stock blocks.

I was something like #62 for ECS to make over 700rwhp on a stock block.

stock block? you mean completely stock motor? no stronger rod bolts or rods. the only c6 autos ive done over 600whp that were stock didnt get raced or really even driven hard. the most abuse they saw was while we had them on the dyno. i know the stock block will easily handle that kinda power but the thought of the stock rod bolts holding all that stress kinda scares me.

My car is a manual but its still the stock block, clutch, transmission, and rear. The engine has never been opened.

I'm pretty sure all the other cars in the count had stock blocks as well.

The problem with these type of threads is there's never enough info. The OP throws out some arbitrary number, not knowing what direction to head, and everyone jumps in without even asking why.

So, 600 rwhp. Why?

1/4 mile? Dyno bragging rights? Standing mile? Auto-x? Road racing? Something to rapidly dry off the Zaino?

With that info a lot more helpful responses will emerge. You will also get the side benefit of learning a little about supplying mods and other systems involved with building a car right.
