ahh @#$% need a new dif
I have 2005 corvette z51, just xploded my differential, felt wheel hop let off the gas but it was too late it was only. My. Second pass and car only. Has 25k on it, what differential should I invest in and is it a direct bolt up no modification also. What all do ii need? If there's a kit what do you guys all recommend I plan on getting a sc in the future as well. Thanks

Us 2005 guys have a couple choices: 2006 and up diffs with a trans adapter from zip corvettes, or a C5 diff with a custom made bracket. I want to upgrade mine as well before it goes boom, but I don't bring it to the drag trip.

M6, yea sorry I'm using my cell phone our Internet in the barracks is horrible so i dont use my. Laptop. Yea i need to see if the tranny is ok

i have proxes i found the stocks kinda crappy they didnt grip as well, i rev launched at approx 3k, i avoided the wet box as well. yes it was at the new england dragway in epping, NH.

We feel your pain. Been there. I run a c5 diff, it is the inexpensive option.

soo found a tranny and diff off an 05 for 1200 , however it didnt come off a z51 , not a big concern due to i will be getting the RPM set up here shortly when funds become more available, i just need to get my car running again for now.

Man I hate to hear that. I think I'm going to get the RPM upgrade when I finally get my supercharger. By the time I get my car how I want it the C7 will be out..... Good luck getting it fixed.
