I just brought the C6 out for the first time this year. Just reconnected a fresh battery. Car fired up no problem, however the radio (stock) does not seem to work. The stations and such will change, but there appears to be no volume. Tried a CD and it also did not work.
Could I have blown a fuse, or is there some sort of anti-theft code? Any ideas? Thanks

Your sig doesn't have much info, are you in a chilly part of the country?
Our 2006 and then 2009 would sometimes have a blank screen upon startup in cold weather; but the radio did actually work and had volume. There was a bulletin to update the software in the radio that cured it under warranty in our 2009, you'd probably have to pay a few bucks. If that's the problem...

I'm from the north. I don't have a blank screen, I have everything working on the display, just no volume at all.
This is the 2nd winter I've stored it since purchased. Last year, no issue.
As crazy as our electrical systems are, I would disconnect the battery again, wait for a minute or so and hook it back up. It might "reboot" the brain and get the radio to work.
Battery re-connect should not mute the radio. OEM radio?
Anyway, check the easy, obvious stuff:
-- try the MUTE button
-- check the audio amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse block
-- check the radio fuse in the passenger footwell fuse block
I checked fuse #30 in slot 31, it looks blown. Can't get the damn thing out though. Off to Chevy to get a replacement, then fight with it later on today.
